HI-LIGHTS: 1st Pressing 1966 French Only LP on RCA. Worldwide this LP was titled "Spinout".
However, in France, this title was already previously used & due to
copyright, RCA had to change the title. Of interest, this happened only
1 other time for a Elvis LP & once for a King EP. 'Viva Las Vegas' EP became 'Love In Las Vegas' & Crazy as it is to believe, France had already used the title 'Harum Scarum' & was retitled 'Harum Holiday'!
Although this LP is another Elvis Movie Soundtrack, it features some kick-ass Classic King tracks!! 'I'll Be Back' was actually nominated for a Academy Award! 'Tomorrow Is A Long Time' was the Kings 1st crack at a Dylan classic. 'Down In The Alley' is Elvis belting out the Blues & 'I'll Remember You' 1st appeared here, on this LP!(Not 'Aloha From HA.')!

HI-LIGHTS: This super-rare double-LP set, exclusively released in the UK, consists of the famous 12/3/56 jam session showcasing early Rock & Roll's most influential performers: King ELVIS Presley, Jerry Lee "Killer" Lewis, Carl "Mr. Blue Suede Shoes" Perkins & Johnny "Man in Black" Cash!
Pressed on "S Recordings", one of the few authorized, non-RCA labels ever to release any ELVIS material in the UK. This 2-LP set represents the first and original legitimate release of this "Million Dollar Quartet" jam session & in studio quality! Cover features distinctive "dollar bill"
layout, with gatefold featuring Memphis press seminar articles and
pictures. Johnny Cash's name was omitted from the cover due to
speculation of
his absence from the jam session, due to the
difficulty hearing his voice. However, the Man in Black himself
confirmed that he participated in the entire jam, and due to standing at
far end of the piano(as depicted in a All pics from the jam),
was simply 'off-mic'. To the best of ERR's knowledge, this is the only one that omitted the Man in Black's name!
Although booted numerous times, this was the first legitimate release issued in 1985, UK, through Rock-A-Billy distributor 'BEAR RECORDS'.
