HI-LIGHTS: This 1979 KING ELVIS LP, Cover offers a selection of shots from 1973 & 1974 King Concerts. Tracks consist of 2 complete shows from the same... Las Vegas Hilton dinner show on 9/2/1973 and an evening show at the Niagara Falls Convention Center in upstate New York on 6/24/1974. While all material is available on other bootlegs, this one comes with remarkably superior sound quality to the originals. 2-LP housed in a single pocket. Not 1 of the finer King boots package wise, thus the low price for a double-LP. Very low pressing & a rare King collectible never-the-less!

HI-LIGHTS: Right to its very cover designs and artwork, this 1982 KING ELVIS LP album is themed as an Elvis parody, one meant to showcase not the best, but the worst of the King. With liner notes full of vulgar humor and witty sideswipes and a prominent "Enquirer" picture of Elvis dead in his casket, along with 'bonus' DR. Nick presrip insert & lyric inner sleeve, it's to be expected that this one should contain the most embarrassingly bad recordings the King ever produced. At least in the NYC bootleggers opinion. Naturally, this is an album not notable for its content, but very memorable for its humorous presentation. Spanning a 24 year career, & approx 800 recordings, even the King sang some clunkers & they're right here, on 1 LP... along with a few Gems, cus even The King can't fill up a entire LP with crap!

HI-LIGHTS: Cover features a color shot of Elvis during a July 1975 performance; reverse has an album-size black-and-white photo from a June 1973 tour show. This was the first bootleg recording to feature a color gatefold cover (and the second bootleg ever to have a gatefold, the black-and-white "Hillbilly Cat" being the first); it served, more or less, as a prototype to what would come later by Paul "Balls" Dowling and "WorldWideElvis". Contains various television appearances, live performances and undubbed studio masters. This album is unusual in that all recordings are presented in chronological order. The 1969 live recordings are believed to have originated from a mastertape obtained by someone possibly connected to RCA. Includes long version of "Suspicious Minds", performed live by Elvis for the very first time in August 1969 (three months before the single was released, in Nov.).

HI-LIGHTS: Album cover showcases two black-and-white photos of Elvis, one from "Love Me Tender" (1956) and the other from the summer festival at the Las Vegas Hilton (1973), surrounded by a beautiful red border. Side A consists of live recordings from Elvis' first two appearances on Ed Sullivan; Side B contains several studio masters that were only available (legally) as singles from RCA and never included on any LP. It is noteworthy that Brookville Records, a legitimately licensed manufacturer, released an Elvis compilation shortly thereafter; the bootlegger took advantage of this and used the same name for his own label.
